December Big Seed News

Welcome to the Big Seeds room!

We are thankful to have gobbled through November with our Big seeds. We enjoyed singing our thank-you song at every mealtime! Oh, and did you see and hear all those wobbly Turkeys at home because we did all November?

December:

This month, our study is Winter Wonderland. We will appreciate the beauty of the snow, twinkling lights, and cold, snowy weather. We are excited to play in the snow outside. We are ready to jingle some bells as we practice for our Sing A Long performance. We hope you all can join us. Mark your calendar for December 9th.

Ms. Blanca:

Ms Blanca joined our teaching staff this month. Her schedule is 8am- 3pm daily. She will move between the two Seedling rooms as an extra set of hands, which we appreciate.

November Highlights:

Avery becomes increasingly more comfortable with the Big Seed room as she explores and socializes with her friends. She is also always ready for a good book.
Colette enjoys using the push toys to practice walking around the classroom. She has just started taking a few steps.
Eliza has been gone all month visiting sunny California. We miss her and cannot wait for her to return.
Elle is very observant. Throughout the month, we will add pictures that relate to our study to our walls. Elle is the first one to point out what is new!
Elliott has mastered the shape sorter. He correctly places circles, triangles, squares, and rectangles on the correct pegs, and it is fascinating to watch him work.
Lily graduated from taking a few steps at a time to full-blown climbing. Excellent work, Lily!
Luca connects two words using words and signs simultaneously. For example, he signs and says, “Water, please.”
Sydney uses the push toys to zoom in, out, and all around the classroom.
