Seedling Families,

We are pleased to welcome so many new families to the Growing Tree and the Seedling room. A couple of families have had a child in the Seedling room before, and we look forward to seeing more of you again and getting to know your new family addition.

We know it isn’t easy for you to leave your infant and return to work, even for those who have done it before. We want to make this transition as easy and smooth as possible for both you and your child.

Communication is essential to us. Please don’t hesitate to tell us about your infant’s likes and dislikes, what works for you at home, and any preferences you may have in their care. You are the expert on your child, and we value what you have to tell us about them and your hopes for their care here at Growing Tree.

Ms Jo: I been in the Seedling room for 18 years and have 3 Growing Tree graduates of my own (21,11, and 6). I enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, camping, and surfing on the coast with my family. Early morning runs and plenty of coffee help me organize my thoughts and keep me calm throughout the day. My shift is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ms Devi: I joined Growing Tree in January 2023 as a Big Seed teacher and chose to move to the Seedling room shortly after when the opportunity arose. I enjoy concerts, spending time with friends and family, good food, and have a 17-year-old son. I have worked in childcare for many years, and am happy to be at Growing Tree. My shift is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

As parents ourselves we know how hard and stressful it is to leave your infant in the care of another and are honored that you chose us.
